Today's nursery paging system has changed drastically as opposed to the methods tried just 10 years ago. No more nursery volunteers bothering the church service to inform a parent that their toddler needs them. New technology has now made this obsolete. Nowadays mom and dad can be given a personal pager when they drop off their child. They check in their toddler to the nursery, and are issued a pager that vibrates when paged. If a parent needs to be summoned by a nursery volunteer at some point in the worship services, they just key in the number into the transmitter and the parent is immediately notified. It is as trouble-free as that.
